About Megan Firth
I’m Megan Firth, an anti-diet registered dietitian with over a decade of experience studying and practicing dietetics. I’m passionate about dismantling diet culture and guiding clients on their journey to heal their relationship with food. I support individuals and families of all ages, shapes and sizes to pursue eating disorder recovery by sharing knowledge about the impact of stress, mood, and diet culture on our ability to nourish ourselves, debunking nutrition myths, as well as addressing digestion challenges and nutrition complications of eating disorders.
During the early stages of recovery I will empower caregivers to build meal support skills, as well as create meal plans designed to renourish the body, challenge food rules, and fuel movement. Clients who are further along their journey will be guided to learn to honour their hunger cues, nourish their body unconditionally and make peace with food using the principles of intuitive eating. My intention is to leave clients and their families feeling confident, supported, and equipped to do the hard work of recovery.
